![]() I want this to be a positive thing not a console war thing, that isn’t my cup of tea, all 3 are doing great things at the moment. I am however happy to see Sony taking a more MS approach with more PC supports and of course mobile, i think many more players will get to play and experience the awesome games the teams at sony work on. The thing i disagree with is any of these companies thinking they are the saviors of gaming, gaming is to big of a market for one company to be the savior, mobile alone dwarfs console money and PC is doing plenty good these days. That i don’t want to really get into cause i own all 3 consoles so i can play everything. Tue 28th Mar ABK was for sale, as was Bethesda, someone was going to buy them and MS had a need for more games and a subscription service that requires heavy hitters to keep engagement, they are keeping many of the big games on PS, and it’s not as if Xbox only fans are pleased with the efforts Sony takes to keep games off the Xbox.I've tried Cloud and it works but eh I'm more accepting of Remote Play (prefer casting to a device from the console to access point/modem/router and handheld/phone than via the Cloud) then Cloud, that and other technologies like their controller gimmicks (many people have their likes and hates or toleration of it). I've never used remote play on Xbox One/Series consoles so no idea how good it is. I assume others have accepted things as well in their way that reflects their situation. I've accepted that the future is happening with phones or Cloud even if I don't like it and I ignore what I don't want to support. I'm not into mobile gaming (not interested in phone grips, not interested in WipEout Rush as the future of the series (not having a Chibi Robo Zip Lash situation) even if just a phone entry if we never get a console entry again Omega Collection was a good ending at least) either my phone is a music player/emu machine so I have no interest in phone games compared to other people into their phone games, gacha, remote play or whatever use but will I say the backbone/services on mobile are bad having never used them I'd won't say anything as never used them nor do I think they are bad just they exist and serve a purpose. I get with Switch people say what they do for Cloud or visuals (the jokes are so bad) but at the same time many are happy with portable and those that did Off TV Play on Wii U used it. Can't say for the Xbox side or if people actually hate Cloud/Remote Play for any console. Whether people prefer their TVs or not is up to them and I can see why as with audio and visual benefits offered by a console/TV then the phone taking whatever it can to process it and not the same quality audio and visual cast to the device) why wouldn't people or if they aren't on the go/see a need for remote play it's an option (don't need to game 'everywhere'). I myself don't use my phone for remote play nor second screen (got to use that Vita on PS4 though) but tried it out and it works well enough. I barely use it unless I'm in the mood to but I'm fine with the feature or let my controllers charge/have complications with my wheel and use remote play (using my Vita on PS4) to continue playing/sort things out as got limited USB ports so why not use Remote Play instead. I would say that many don't use it because they see no need to, don't see the advertising or other factors and I can agree with that. Tue 28th Mar My guess is because were used to handhelds or messing around with Remote Play we don't mind it, accepted using phones to play on the go.
